Geotechnical services consist of subsurface soils evaluations for foundation design, roadway design, water retention and detention basin design, sinkhole evaluation and other geo-technical applications linked to pre- and post-construction activities.

What does a geotechnical engineer evaluate on a Florida project?

When should a geotechnical evaluation happen?

Before design is final. A preliminary site evaluation and a review of foundation suitability come first, so site preparation and foundation recommendations can shape the design rather than react to it.

Can Geo-Tech investigate a building or road that is already settling?

Yes. Geo-Tech performs forensic evaluations of distressed structures such as roadways and buildings, including foundation settlement analysis and long-term geotechnical monitoring.
