Services

Geotechnical Engineering

Geotechnical services consist of subsurface soils evaluations for the purposes of foundation design, roadway design, water retention/detention basin design, sinkhole evaluation, and other geo-engineering applications linked to pre and post construction activities. We also are an industry leader in forensic evaluation of distressed structures such as roadways or buildings.

One example of Geo-Tech’s technological advances is the state-of-the-art Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment. The GPR is used for geophysical exploration in determining sinkhole potential, depth to clay layers, bedrock formations and a variety of other geophysical exploratory uses. If a sinkhole occurs, Geo-Tech can offer remedial recommendations.

Our team has the ability and experience to fully assess potential sinkhole activity and investigate distressed foundations and roadway systems. In addition we possess the experience and expertise to provide remediation design recommendations along with follow-up monitoring. Geo-Tech has been operating ground penetrating radar services throughout Central Florida for the last 20 years. Currently Geo-Tech houses 3 ground penetrating radar units with diverse capabilities.
